Has it Been a Year?

I can't believe it has almost been a year since our big move to Washington!  It has been a very fun adventure moving to a new city and living the military life.  Harrison completed Kindergarten successfully (with many hitches I may add!) He is such a sweet boy and doesnt have a mean hair on his head, However, being so friendly has become his nemisis!  He loves to talk and hug people, therefore, forgot where he was and had to be reminded several times by his teacher not to hug or spank bottoms!  He also loves to play superheros during recess and had again to be reminded of what we dont do at school!

He is very excited to start first grade and looks at it as being a BIG BOY so he says!  I am sure this school year will be just as eventful!

Kennedy is our little Spitfire!  The end of September will be her year mark from breaking her leg!  She has recovered really well and is constantly trying new things and saying "Look Mom, it doesn't hurt my leg!" She is excited to start preschool this year and has grown a love for pink and Barbies!  She is our little princess! She would wear pink everyday if she could!

John is loving his job in the Navy. He works as a Hospital Corpsman and the Naval hospital and has decided that being a Nurse is what he really loves doing!  He has passed his E4 exam and hold various leadership postiions on his Floor at the hospital. He is thriving!

I have recently began babysitting for a friend of mine. She has three boys, who range in age from 6, 3 and 9 months. The kids all play together really nice. I find it a nice substitute so I dont have to leave home for work. I feel blessed to stay with Kennedy and Harrison while working too.

We Love living in Washington! It is a beautfiul state. Almost every weekend we get to explore the area, finding new lakes or parks. The kids think it is really fun to visit the ocean front and look for crabs, clams or oysters!

OuR nEw BeGiNiNg!

What a journey! We have finally made it to the Beautiful state of Washington! We live in a port town named Bremerton, home to Puget Sound Naval Base and the Bangor Submarine base. It really is a pretty town surrounded by mountains and water! John is working at the Naval Hospital, which is located within walking distance of our home. He loves being a Corpsman and is thinking about persuing a career in Nursing or being a Surgical Tech.
Harrison has really enjoyed his new school, Jackson Park Elementary and has made many new friends! Kennedy is finally out of her cast and is walking! We are all happy about that!
